Kascha Papillon (born December 8, 1967) is an Hawaiian former adult entertainer, having been a nude model, a centerfold/covergirl, and porn star in the closing years of the Golden Age of Porn. She was frequently billed simply as Kascha. She was best known for her exotic looks, and for having had just one partner in most of her adult film work.

Career

Papillon began her porn career in 1988 at the age of 21,[1] with Introducing Kascha (Girls of the Double D 7 (1987) (V) (as Kascha) at the age of 20). She was photographed by Suze Randall in the August 1988 issue of Penthouse, and was on the cover of Hustler Magazine for November 1989.[2] Kascha was one of the early performers to use "high class spreads" in men's magazines as an entry into pornographic acting.[3] Among her appearances she was the cover girl for High Society in July 1988 (photographed by Suse Randall), Leg Show in September 1988, Juggs in February 1990, and the Very Best of High Society number 20. She appeared in the Girls of Penthouse July/August 1991, photographed by Earl Miller. She then appeared in over 30 features, starring in several that included her name in the title (including Educating Kascha and From Kascha with Love). In 1988-89, she starred in all eight films in the Hawaii Vice series, directed by Ron Jeremy. She left adult films in 1994,[1] after which she performed as an exotic dancer for a few years before dropping out of the public eye.

Papillon also had bit parts in a few B-movies under the name "Alison LePriol", including Caged Fury (1989), and Fortress of Amerikkka (1989).

She was billed as being of mixed descent (half Chinese and half Swedish), and was known for her East Asian features and contrasting blonde hair. Contrary to popular belief, Kascha had little or no European heritage and was of primarily Asian ancestry. She is simply of Chinese origin. Kascha was married to French porn actor Francois Papillon, and did most of her pornographic acting with him. (She had a tattoo of a butterfly on her left buttock, which presumably is a reference to her husband: papillon is the French word for "butterfly"). Kascha was one of the handful of pornstars of her era who sought to make a career of only having sex on film with one person, this being her husband, Francois Papillon.[4]

During her career in adult films, Kascha's appearance went through several changes. She had two breast enlargements, which contributed to her weight going from a skinnier 105 pounds (48 kg) to start, to a curvy 130 pounds (59 kg). Kascha was among the first wave of porn stars to get breast implants to bolster her career, though she initially denied having gotten them, and instead claimed that "her newly enlarged bosom was the result of an auto accident in which her breasts bashed against the dashboard."[5]
